ROOMS

Standard room: The 14 Rooms at Chaaya Reef Ellaidhoo are designed as two separate rooms in a single storey structure and are located just behind the Beach Bungalows. These rooms open out to the garden area with lush palm trees and pristine foot paths leading the way to the beach.

Beach Bungalow: The 46 Beach Bungalows are discerningly designed as separate private single storey units which open out to offer an amazing view of the ocean.

Superiror room: The well planned 28 Superior Rooms at Chaaya Reef Ellaidhoo are wonderfully designed, facing the Indian Ocean, in groups of four rooms as two-storey structures. With two rooms on each floor, they are the ideal choice for families or groups of friends on holiday.

Water Bunaglow: The 24 Water Bungalows are new additions built on stilts as two independent bungalows in a single over-water unit to provide guests a magnificent view of the sea.

RESTAURANTS & BARS

Madi Restaurent: Meal time is always an enjoyable occasion at the Madi Restaurant with a wide choice of delicious spreads from around the world served buffet style for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Malamathi Restaurent & Bar: This restaurant serves buffet style & caters exclusively for residents of the Water Bungalows. In addition the spectacular outer deck by the pool with a view of the ocean is an al-fresco A-la-carte dining option for all, our resident guest.  The fareserved includes a diverse selection of fresh sea food & culinary creations of our Chefs with a selection of wines to complement this dining experience. The two elevated pavilions by the pool are undoubtedly the perfect venue for that special intimate dinner for two.

Iruohsnee Bar: The main bar in the island, overlookingthe Indian ocean, an ideal place to let a tropical cocktail melt in your hand while you take in a breath taking sunset from the open air deck or watch the sting rays that swim in daily at around 6.30 pm, remember to have your camerawith you as watching these denizens of the ocean feeding at sunset isdefinitely a memory worth taking back with you.

Relax with Azmaara Spa - The experience is beginning, the beautiful feelings are here, and they are within your reach. Open your hands to accept and find it pervading your whole being. It is beautiful and you are truly beautiful. The Spa comprises of 3 Double Treatment Rooms, 1 Single Treatment Room, a Manicure / Pedicure Salon and a Lounge area. One of the double rooms features walls of mirrors, creating an extraordinarily magical atmosphere and the soft, serene music enhances that already peaceful ambience, making you want to linger here as long as possible. This Spa is unique. Step in from the water onto the soft white sand inside the Spa!

DIVING & SNORKELING

Dive with Dive & Sail

Chaaya Reef Ellaidhoo offer several different daily boat dives, the first one leaving at 08:30! The regular boat dives at 9:00 and at 15:00 always takeplace, there is no minimum number of divers required. 2-tank dives (in the morningas well as in the afternoon), full day trips and night dives are regular weeklyactivities. The dive sites in the northern Ari Atoll count to the 100 best in the world! Giris and thilas, channels, out reefs, drop offs, over hangs and wrecks are full with great variety of fish. To see sharks, rays and turtles is just normal in the daily divers' life. The legendary house reef of Chaaya Reef Ellaidhoo with its 6 entries and exits also offers many high lights, among the other a ship wreck. You can dive 24 hours in the house reef, convenient with the tank service.

ACTIVITIES

Tours & Excursions: Island hopping: Discover and explore the uninhabited islands that are located in Ari atoll, visitors get the opportunity to discovera situation fantasized by many but experienced by few what it would be like tobe secluded in a deserted island. Those guests who want to explore the inhabited islands will not be disappointed; the purpose of island hopping is toobtain a taste of the country. Therefore a stop over at an inhabited island would enable guests to discover a day in the life of the island dwellers in a fishing village. Understand their values, beliefs, and customs and obtain the opportunity to discover the taste of authentic Maldivian cuisine. Visits to the island of Male which is the economic and political hub of the country would provide guests with the opportunity to shop and explore the island.

Fishing: the fishing industry in Maldives is the main contributor to the Maldivian economy; visitors to the islands could try their hand at fishing the traditional way. The traditional method of fishing is called the pole and line method a feathered barb-less hook on a line is attached to 15 foot Bamboo or plastic construction pole. Anglers could catch fish weighing up to 50 pounds using this technique. However if visitors are not keen on trying the traditional method they could bring their own equipment orrent it from the resort. Night time fishing is the most desired type of fishing in Maldives; anglers could feel the gentle breeze and the lapping of the choppy waters as they wait for an unsuspecting fish to bite on the bait. With a vast amount of patience and a little bit of luck anglers could catch tuna, squirrelfish, groupers, barracuda, emperors, rainbow runner and tre-val-ly. Fishing in the Maldivian seas does not require one to be an expert angler; however visitors need to be aware of the fishing norms in the Maldives.
